Leicester City claim their biggest EPL victory

Sep 30, 2019

Leicester City are up to third in the Premiership standings, after a thumping 5-nil home win over Newcastle.

It is the Foxes' biggest-ever win in the top-flight, and moves them above the likes of Tottenham, Chelsea and Arsenal in the table.

Newcastle, on the other hand, are second from bottom.

Mercedes end three-race losing streak, as Lewis Hamilton wins Russian GP

Lewis Hamilton has won the Russian F1 GP, taking the checquered flag ahead of his Mercedes teammate Valtteri Bottas.

Ferrari's Charles Leclerc was third.

It snaps Mercedes' three-race losing streak, and it's also their first one-two finish since mid-July.

The result moves Hamilton closer to a sixth world title, but the British driver refuses to get carried away:

"I try not to think too much about the championship. One race and one step at a time. Collectively that's what we're working on. Of course, it's getting harder as the season goes on, but one foot in front of the other, we don't want to stumble."

Hamilton now holds a 73-point lead in the standings, with just five races to go this season.
