Leipzig send Man Utd crashing out of the Champions League

Man United are out of the Champions League after suffering a 3-2 defeat to RB Leipzig in their final group match this morning.

United – who needed just a draw to progress to the knockout round – found themselves three goals down by the 70th minute.

The Red Devils then fought back with two late goals but were unable to find the crucial third.

Meanwhile, Cristiano Ronaldo scored two penalties as Juventus defeated Barcelona 3-0 at the Nou Camp.

The match marked the first meeting between Ronaldo and Barca's Lionel Messi since May 2018.

In other selected results, Chelsea – who’ve already qualified for the last 16 – drew 1-1 with Krasnodar.

While the match between PSG and Istanbul Basaksehir was abandoned after 15 minutes, when the Turkish club’s players walked off the field over an alleged racist comment from the fourth official.

Hamilton is back in training

Lewis Hamilton is back in training after recently contracting Covid-19.

The seven-time F1 world champion confirmed that he’s feeling good, and is hoping to make it back for this weekend’s season-ending Abu Dhabi GP.

Hamilton needs to return a negative Covid-19 test by tomorrow, to be allowed to compete.

No Dream Team at the Tokyo Olympics?

US reports say a majority of American NBA stars are unsure if they will play at next year’s delayed Tokyo Olympics, because of their busy domestic season.
