Lionel Messi scores 600th goal for Barcelona

May 02, 2019

Lionel Messi scored his 600th goal for Barcelona via a stunning free kick, as his side thumped Liverpool 3-nil in their Champions League first leg semifinal at the Nou Camp this morning.

The Argentine reached the milestone, just days after long-time rival Cristiano Ronaldo also scored HIS 600th club goal.

Messi, however, has achieved the feat in just over a 100 games less than Ronaldo.

This morning's defeat also leaves Liverpool with an uphill task, ahead of the second leg at Anfield next Wednesday.
