Malaysian shuttlers through to US Open quarters

Tan Kian Meng and Lai Pei Jing are through to the quarter-finals of the US Badminton Open.

Fellow mixed doubles pair Goh Soon Huat and Shevon Lai will also be joining them in the next round.

However, both Zulfadli Zulkiffli and his brother Zulhelmi crashed out in the 2nd round of the men's singles event.

Over in the Russian Badminton Open, men's doubles pair Chooi Kah Ming and Low Juan Shen have advanced to the semi-finals.

Mixed doubles reps Chan Peng Soon and Cheah Yee See have also progressed, along with women's singles shuttler Soniia Cheah.
