Man City revive their EPL title hopes

Man City got their Premier League title challenge back on track with a dominant 4-0 win over Crystal Palace this morning.
It was their fifth straight victory in the league.
The result moves City up to second in the standings, two points behind leaders Man United, although Pep Guardiola’s side have a game in hand.

This, after United and Liverpool played out a goalless draw at Anfield, which dropped the Reds down to fourth in the table.
Another match saw Tottenham record a comfortable 3-1 win over Sheffield United.
Bilbao stun Barca
Athletic Bilbao have won the Spanish Super Cup with a shock 3-2 extra-time win over Barcelona in this morning’s final.

Barca were minutes away from winning… before Bilbao scored late in regulation time, and again in extra-time to record a famous victory over the Catalan giants, and pick up their first trophy since 1985.
The match also saw Lionel Messi get sent off in the dying minutes…the first time he’s been red carded in his Barcelona career.
Malaysian shuttlers fall short

Malaysia’s Goh V Shem and Tan Wee Kiong have finished as runners-up in the men’s doubles event at the Thailand Badminton Open.
The pro shuttlers put in a good performance before going down in three sets to world number seven pair Lee Wang – Wang Chi Lin in the final.
