Mikel Arteta claims first home victory as Arsenal boss

Mikel Arteta has won his first match as Arsenal boss, with a 2-nil victory over Manchester United at the Emirates.

The Gunners produced a powerful first-half performance, netting both goals before the break.

As for United, the defeat means they are yet to win three Premier League games in a row this season.

In other selected results:

Manchester City defeated Everton 2-1, with Gabriel Jesus netting both goals.

Elsewhere, Leicester continued their impressive form this season, with a 3-nil win over Newcastle. 
Southampton edged Tottenham 1-nil.
Brighton held Chelsea to a 1-all draw.

Daunting task to claim first Olympic gold

The Olympic Council of Malaysia admits it's going to be difficult for our athletes to win the country's first-ever Olympic gold medal at the 2020 Tokyo Games.

We have a number of gold medal prospects in cycling, diving and gymnastics, but the OCM says we have to realistic, while hoping that every athlete gives their best in Tokyo.

Harimau Malaya tasked to win AFF Suzuki Cup

The FAM has set a target for Harimau Malaya to win this year's AFF Suzuki Cup.

The governing body says this is the national team's second priority in 2020, behind earning qualification for the 2023 Asian Cup.
