Misbun: Chong Wei will still retire a legend

Oct 03, 2018

Datuk Misbun Sidek says there should be no regrets, if Datuk Lee Chong Wei is forced to retire because of his recent cancer diagnosis.

The national singles head coach says the shuttler can be proud of what he's achieved throughout his career, including becoming the longest-reigning World No. 1.

Chong Wei had earlier stated his desire to return to action as soon as possible, but Misbun says the player should take the time to focus on his recovery.
