Datuk Nicol David has reached the quaterfinals of the Tournament of Champions in New York.
She needed 4 sets to overcome New Zealander Joelle King, and will next face Camille Serme of France in the last 8.
Camille Serme and Nicol are both previous title-holders at the TOC.
