No Turkish delight for Man United in the Champions League

Istanbul Basaksehir have pulled off a shock Champions League win over Manchester United, beating the Red Devils 2-1 this morning.
The Turkish team, who were formed only in 1990, took advantage of some horrendous defending from United and found themselves two goals up before half-time.

Anthony Martial then pulled one back for the Premiership side before the break, but they were unable to deny the Istanbul club a famous victory.
Elsewhere, Timo Werner scored twice from the penalty spot to help Chelsea to a 3-0 win over Rennes.

The Blues have now picked up seven points from their opening three matches and have yet to concede a goal so far.

RB Leipzig came from behind to beat PSG 2-1 with the French club also having two players sent off.
Barcelona picked up their third straight win, beating Dynamo Kiev 2-1.
While Juventus thrashed Ferencvaros 4-1.
Indonesia prepare for 2032 Olympic bid
The Indonesian government has instructed the relevant ministries to prepare their preliminary plans for a bid to host the 2032 Olympic Games.
President Joko Widodo says they want to build upon the success of having hosted the 2018 Asian Games.
The host selection process for the 2032 Olympics is expected to start in just under three years’ time.
Nadal hits the 1000-win mark
Rafa Nadal has won his one thousandth match on the ATP Tour, beating Feliciano Lopez to make the last-16 of the Paris tennis Masters.
The Spaniard is only the fourth player ever to hit the one thousand- win mark.
