No replacement for Chong Wei in China

BAM will not send a replacement for Datuk Lee Chong Wei for the World Badminton Championships in China.
However, it has shortlisted several potential replacements for the World No. 2, for the upcoming Asian Games.
Chong Wei was forced to pull out from both the World Championships and the Asian Games due to a respiratory-related illness, with doctors advising him to rest for at least a month.
The 36-year-old had hoped to win his first world title at the Championships, which begin next week.
