Novak Djokovic will play in the Australian Open

Jan 10, 2018

Novak Djokovic says he will play in the Australian Open.

The Serb made his return from a six-month injury layoff with a win over Dominic Thiem at the Kooyong Tennis Classic, and says he's feeling good about next week's Grand Slam event.

Meanwhile, Garbine Muguruza's hopes of making the Aussie Open have taken a hit, after she pulled out of the Sydney International with a thigh injury.

This is the second tournament the world number three has withdrawn from, after quitting last week's Brisbane International because of cramps.
