Older players will benefit from tennis' suspension, says Boris Becker

Former tennis world number one Boris Becker believes that ‘The Big Three’ as well as other older players will benefit most from the suspended season, as it gives them time to recuperate and possibly prolong their careers.

He told Reuters, however, he feels this doesn’t work in favour of younger players, saying they are now losing chances to gain experience from matches:

“I think it benefits more (Novak) Djokovic, (Rafael) Nadal, Federer because they know how good they are, they know what to do, and I don't think we are going to see a change of form from them. But I think the younger players will take more time to come back.”

Meanwhile, Becker admits that he’s unsure if tennis can even return this year, saying it would all depend on the fates of the US and French Opens come September.

Kylian Mbappe wants clause to move away in new PSG contract

Kylian Mbappe is reportedly prepared to agree a new deal with PSG, but on one condition.

It seems the 21-year-old wants a clause in his PSG contract that will allow him to leave for Real Madrid or another big club for a certain price.

This buyout clause would be similar to the one Neymar had in HIS deal, before leaving Barcelona for PSG in 2017.

Sebastian Vettel offered new deal till 2022

Ferrari has reportedly offered driver Sebastian Vettel a new two-year contract.

Vettel had earlier rejected the team’s first offer which involved a significant pay cut, but it’s unclear what exactly this new deal entails.

It’s understood Ferrari wants Vettel's answer by the end of the month, or the team will advance its negotiations with other drivers like Daniel Ricciardo and Carlos Sainz.
