Premiership transfer window spendings surpass 1 billion dollars

Spending in the current Premier League transfer window has surpassed the 1 billion dollar mark.

However, the number is still expected to grow as the transfer window will be open for another three weeks.

Manchester City are currently the biggest spenders, accounting for almost half of the total amount, while the lowest spenders are Tottenham, who have yet to sign a single first team player this summer.
