Rafa Nadal has produced a Houdini-escape, as he came from 5-2 down and saved a match point in the deciding set, to beat Alexandr Zverev in the 4th round at the Indian Wells tennis tournament in California.

The 18-year-old German had an opportunity to record an upset with an open sitter at match point, but smashed the ball into the net.

Nadal will next face either Kei Nishikori or John Isner.
