Malaysian divers Ahmad Amsyar Azman, Muhamad Syafiq Puteh dan Ooi Tze Liang have all advanced to the final of the 1 meter platform event at the Commonwealth Games.

Meanwhile, Soniia Cheah-Shevon Lai defeated their opponents from Ghana, to make the second round of the badminton women's doubles event.

And, the Malaysian women's hockey squad recorded their first win at the Games, defeating Wales 1-nil in their final Group A encounter. 

They will next play in the 7th/8th placing classification match.

Malaysia is currently 12th in the medals tally with 2 gold, 2 silver and 3 Bronze medals.
