France have powered into the semifinals of the World Cup for the first time since 2006 !

This, as Les Bleus took out Uruguay 2-nil thanks to goals from Raphael Varane and Antoinne Griezmann.

France will face neighbours Belgium in the semi-finals next week , after the Belgians took out 5-time champions Brazil 2-1.

Kevin De Bruyne scored a first half goal to add on to Fernandinho's own goal while Renato Augusto scored the consolation for the Brazilians.

Belgium are now thru to the the semi-finals for the first time in 32 years.
