Romelu Lukaku cuts World Cup break short for José

Aug 01, 2018

Romelu Lukaku has agreed to cut short his summer holiday, to rejoin Manchester United's squad for the start of the season.

The Belgian was given an extended break, after he represented Belgium at the World Cup.

Initially, he was only supposed to return to United five days after the start of the new season.

However, United boss, José Mourinho says Lukaku agreed to come back early, to help the club avoid a poor start to the season.

England duo, Phil Jones and Marcus Rashford also agreed to cut short their holidays.
