Syed Saddiq: SEVEN !

Aug 10, 2018

The Youth and Sports Ministry says our national contingent has been set a target of winning seven gold medals at next week's Asian Games in Indonesia.

If the target is achieved, it would surpasses our 5 gold medal haul from the last edition of the Games in Incheon, South Korea.

Minister Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman, however, is confident that our athletes can bring home as many as 11 golds.

Among the sports that are expected to contribute to our medal tally include cycling, taekwando and karate.
