PSG boss Thomas Tuchel is reportedly being considered for the Chelsea manager's job.

It comes amid reports that The Blues are set to make an announcement on Maurizio Sarri's future, after next week's Europa League final.

Sarri has been widely tipped to leave this summer, having failed to win over the supporters with his style of play.

Besides Tuchel, some of the other candidates said to be in the running for the Chelsea job include former Blues midfielder Frank Lampard and outgoing Juventus boss Max Allegri.

Meanwhile, Diego Simeone says he will remain as Atletico Madrid manager, despite an expected player exodus this summer.

At least seven senior players have been linked with an exit, but Simeone says he will stay on and accept the challenge of rebuilding the squad.

No change to Qatar World Cup format

FIFA have abandoned plans to expand the 2022 World Cup to 48 teams.

It means the tournament will maintain its 32-team format.

The football governing body says its too soon to push for the expansion, as there's not enough time for a detailed assessment of the logistical impact of having 16 additional teams.
