US fails to qualify for the World Cup

The US have failed to qualify for the World Cup for the first time since 1986.
This, after they suffered a shock 2-1 defeat to Trinidad and Tobago.
Panama have qualified for the first time ever, thanks to a 3-1 win over Costa Rica.
And Honduras will be facing Australia in a two-leg play-off, after beating already-qualified CONCACAF group winners Mexico, 3-2
