Vettel Urged To Take A Break

Jun 15, 2020

Former F1 chief Bernie Ecclestone has urged Sebastian Vettel to take a sabbatical, before deciding on his next course of action.

He says this is the best course of action for Vettel, as there are few options for him next year after he leaves Ferrari.

Ecclestone says the German's best option is to take a year off, and try to position himself for the 2022 season.

Vettel's former teammate at Red Bull, Mark Webber also believes that Vettel could take a break next year.

The RB Leipzig manager insists that Timo Werner's proposed move to Chelsea is still not a done deal.

Julian Nagelsmann admits that Werner will most likely leave at the end of the season, but the details haven't been sorted yet.

Recent reports claimed that The Blues are the favourites to sign the German striker, after Liverpool supposedly ended their interest in him.

--

Man United will reportedly focus on signing Ajax's Donny van der Beek, intead of Bayer Leverkusen's Kai Havertz.

According to UK media, United feel that both players offer the same goals coring potential but van der Beek will be a lot cheaper than Havertz.
