ocm unveils olympic kit redesign

The Olympic Council of Malaysia has unveiled its redesigned official attire for athletes competing at the Paris Games.  

The new design features a black background with prominent yellow stripes on the front and back. 

This, following widespread criticism over the costumes’ original design.

Romania will be looking to pull off another Euro 2024 upset, when they take on the Netherlands in the last-16 tonight.  

Romania, who stunned the likes of Belgium and Ukraine in the Group Stage, are taking on a Dutch side that only managed to finish third in their group.  

Another last-16 tie will see Turkey taking on Austria.

Portugal boss Roberto Martinez has praised skipper Cristiano Ronaldo's mental resilience, after they beat Slovenia 3-0 on penalties in the last-16.  

This, after Ronaldo stepped up to successfully take the first kick in the shootout, after earlier missing a penalty in extra time.  

Martinez believes this mental strength will help the team beat France in the quarterfinals.

Uruguay have booked their place in the Copa America quarterfinals, after beating hosts, the USA 1-0.  

The US were knocked out of the competition after finishing behind 2nd-placed Panama, who beat Bolivia 3-1.
