Arsenal have missed the chance to move back into the EPL top four, after a shock 3-0 defeat away to Crystal Palace this morning.

The Gunners were two goals down after just 24 minutes…before Wilfried Zaha sealed the win for Palace with a 74th minute penalty.

The result leaves Arsenal outside the top four on goal difference, although they do have a game in hand.

Palace, meanwhile, are up to ninth.

Real Madrid may be without their coach Carlo Ancelotti for Thursday’s Champions League quarterfinal first leg against Chelsea.

Ancelotti, who recently tested positive for Covid, has yet to return a negative test, with just days to go until the big match at Stamford Bridge.

Sources suggest the Italian may have just 24 hours to be given a clean bill of health, failing which he could be forced to miss the trip.

Christian Eriksen has emerged as a surprise summer target for Tottenham and Man United.

The Danish midfielder has been in fine form recently for Brentford and his national team…scoring in each of his last three matches.

Eriksen, who is back after suffering a cardiac arrest at Euro 2020, will be available on a free transfer at the end of the season.
