Pep: Man City Deserved to Lose!

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola admits the better team won, after they were beaten 1-nil by Aston Villa this morning.  

He says Villa played a fantastic game, while his team struggled to make an impact on the pitch.  

City are now winless in 4 Premier League games, and have dropped to 4th in the standings behind Arsenal, Liverpool and Villa.

JDT boss Esteban Solari has played down his contribution to the club, ahead of their potential history making Piala Malaysia final against Terengganu tomorrow.  

He says their success is based on their strong foundations, and his job is to merely improve the players’ performances.  

A win for the Southern Tigers tomorrow will see them becoming the first team to complete a clean sweep of domestic titles for two years running, having already won the Charity Shield, Liga Super and FA Cup.
