Honours Even Between Reds and City

Liverpool and Man City both missed out on the chance to move top of the EPL standings. 

This, after they played out a 1-1 draw at Anfield last night. 

It leaves the Reds second behind leaders Arsenal on goal difference, while City are third...one point behind the leading duo.

Meanwhile, other EPL results saw Tottenham thrash Aston Villa 4-0. 

Brighton edged past Nottingham Forest 1-0. 

While West Ham play out a 2-2 draw with Burnley.

Elsewhere, Real Madrid thrashed Celta Vigo 4-0 in La Liga action.

Tottenham could reportedly join Arsenal and Chelsea in the running for Athletic Bilbao winger Nico Williams.
