Msian Shuttlers On Course To Make History!

Apr 13, 2025

msian shuttlers on course to make history!

Malaysian shuttlers Aaron Chia – Soh Wooi Yik will be looking to make history this evening, at the Badminton Asia Championships in China.

They will take on local favourites Chen Bo Yang-Liu Yi in the final, in hopes of winning the competition for the first time.

A win will also make them the first Malaysian men’s doubles pair to win the title since Choong Tan Fook-Lee Wan Wah in 2007.

Aaron and Wooi Yik advanced after they stunned defending champions Liang Wei Keng-Wang Chang in last night's semis.

--

Arsenal’s title hopes have suffered another setback, after they drew 1-1 with Brentford in the Premier League.

The result, their third draw in 5 league matches, puts them 10 points behind leaders Liverpool, who will host West Ham tonight.

The Gunners will now travel to Spain, to face Real Madrid in their Champions League quarterfinal second leg.

--

Nottingham Forest boss Nuno Espirito Santo believes their Champions League fate remains in their hands, despite their 1-0 loss to Everton.

Forest remain in third place in the Premier League table but rivals Man City and Aston Villa won their respective matches to close the gap.
