Sergio Aguero has announced his retirement of football at the age of just 33.

The Barcelona and Argentina striker says it is to protect his health, after recently suffering a suspected heart problem on the pitch.

The ex-Man City star ends his career with 427 goals from over 700 matches.

He is also the fourth-highest scorer in Premier League history, behind Andy Cole, Wayne Rooney and Alan Shearer.

Arsenal have overtaken West Ham into fourth place in the EPL standings.

The Gunners beat the Hammers 2-0 this morning…with Emile Smith Rowe adding on to Gabriel Martinelli’s opener.

The defeat also means West Ham have won just one of their last six league matches.

In other results, Wolves edged past Brighton 1-0.

While Crystal Palace and Southampton played out a 2-2 draw.

The FIA says it will conduct an investigation into the controversial ending to the recent Abu Dhabi F1 GP.

It admits that the fallout and backlash from the race has tarnished the image of F1.

This comes after the questionable handling of a late safety car in Abu Dhabi allowed Max Verstappen to overtake Lewis Hamilton, pipping the Brit to the world title.

National singles ace Lee Zii Jia has made the third round of the BWF World Championships.

He was made to work hard by his Brazilian opponent, before winning in three sets.

He joins compatriots Goh Soon Huat-Shevon Lai…Aaron Chia-Soh Wooi Yik… and Goh V Shem-Tan Wee Kiong in advancing to the next round.
