Man United Plot Shock Move For Liverpool's Mac Allister

Manchester United could reportedly make a move to sign Alexis Mac Allister from their fierce rivals Liverpool this summer.

The last Liverpool player to go to United was Michael Owen, who moved to Old Trafford after stints at Real Madrid and Newcastle.  

However, there have not been any direct transfers from Liverpool to United since the 1960s!

Real Madrid will be looking for revenge, when they face Benfica in their Champions League knockout playoff first leg tomorrow morning.  

This, after Benfica stunned Real 4-2 in the group stage last month.  

Real's Kylian Mbappe is fit and should make the trip to Portugal, after missing their weekend victory over Real Sociedad.

However, Raul Asencio and Rodrygo are both suspended.

Meanwhile, Benfica boss Jose Mourinho has played down rumours that he could return to coach Real Madrid at the end of the season.  

This comes amid doubts about Alvaro Arbeloa's long-term future at the Spanish giants.

The draw for the FA Cup's 5th round is out!  

Among the notable fixtures, Man City have been drawn away against Newcastle.  

Liverpool travel to Wolves, Arsenal face Mansfield, Leeds take on Norwich, Fulham host Southampton, and Chelsea will travel to Wrexham – the club that's co-owned by Hollywood's Ryan Reynolds.  

Meanwhile Brentford defeated Macclesfield 1-0 this morning and will play against West Ham in the 5th round.

Both Manchester United and Chelsea have denied that they made offers to sign Jurgen Klopp after he stepped down as Liverpool manager.  

Klopp's agent made the claim recently but did not say when the two clubs approached the German.

And Formula One's owner Liberty Media says Barcelona's Catalunya Circuit has signed a deal to host GPs in ‌2028, 2030 and 2032, alternating with the Belgium GP.  

Starting this year, the race will be called the Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix, with the Spanish GP being held in Madrid
