Chelsea's title hopes suffer another blow

Chelsea’s EPL title hopes have suffered a further blow, after they were held to a 1-1 draw away to Brighton this morning.

Hakim Ziyech opened the scoring the Blues against the run of play…before Adam Webster headed in a deserved equalizer for the home side.

The result leaves Chelsea in third, 12 points behind leaders Man City…and one point adrift of second-placed Liverpool.

Luis Suarez is reportedly keen on a summer move to Aston Villa.

It comes amid speculation the striker is seeking a return to the Premiership, with just six months remaining on his Atletico contract.

Its been suggested that Suarez is interested in a move to Villa, who are managed by his ex-Liverpool teammate Steven Gerrard.

The news comes just days after the arrival of another of Gerrard’s former Reds teammates Philippe Coutinho at Villa Park.

Man City could open talks as soon as next week, to sign Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Haaland.

The EPL champions are reportedly stepping up their pursuit of the star striker, and want to start negotiations as soon as possible.

Haaland is also expected to receive offers from PSG, Real Madrid and Barcelona in the coming weeks.

Lee Zii Jia is refusing to elaborate on speculation that he could quit the BAM to become a professional player.

The national singles shuttler recently held a meeting with the governing body to discuss his future, but says any announcement will be made by the BAM.
