Defending champion Lee Zii Jia cruised into the semi-finals of the All England Badminton Championships after defeating Japan’s Kento Momota.

Zii Jia will next face his opponent from India for a place in the final.

Meanwhile, Malaysia’s women's doubles pair Pearly Tan-M.Thinaah, as well as mixed doubles shuttlers Tan Kian Meng and Lai Pei Jing were beaten by their South Korean and Chinese opponents in the quarters.
