Top Shuttlers Join Road To Gold Programme

Two more Malaysian badminton pairs have agreed to join the Road to Gold programme. 

The Youth and Sports Ministry says they are the world no.1 men's doubles pair of Goh Sze Fei-Nur Izzuddin, and the mixed doubles pairing of Goh Soon Huat-Shevon Lai.  

Several other shuttlers are already in the programme, including Aaron Chia-Soh Wooi Yik, Wei Chong-Tee Kai Wun and Pearly Tan-M Thinaah. 

The programme will give athletes extensive performance-related support ahead of the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.

The LA Lakers’ majority owner has reportedly put the NBA giants up for sale.  

It's believed that the Lakers have been priced at a whopping $10 billion, which would make it the most expensive sale of an American sports team.
