Two more Malaysian badminton pairs have agreed to join the Road to Gold programme. 

The Youth and Sports Ministry says they are the world no.1 men's doubles pair of Goh Sze Fei-Nur Izzuddin, and the mixed doubles pairing of Goh Soon Huat-Shevon Lai.  

Several other shuttlers are already in the programme, including Aaron Chia-Soh Wooi Yik, Wei Chong-Tee Kai Wun and Pearly Tan-M Thinaah. 

The programme will give athletes extensive performance-related support ahead of the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.

Real Madrid will monitor Kylian Mbappe's fitness ahead of their next club World Cup Game.   

He was ruled out of this morning's 1-1 draw against al-Hilal due to a viral infection  

Real's next game will be against Mexican club Pachuca on Monday morning.
