Who's The 21st Century's Best Athlete?

Jul 19, 2024

who's the 21st century's best athlete?

Former Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps has been voted the Best Athlete of the 21st century in a poll by EPSN.

The poll, which garnered over 70 thousand votes, ranked tennis player Serena Williams second.

Football legend Lionel Messi came in third, while Cristiano Ronaldo didn’t even make the top ten – having finished 13th in the vote.

Meanwhile, the only British athlete to crack the top 100 is F1 driver Lewis Hamilton.

Marseille have officially signed Man United’s Mason Greenwood for more than 31 million euros.

According to a report, the forward will stay with the French side until 2029.

The 22-year-old hasn’t played for The Red Devils since 2022, and was on loan at Getafe last season after allegations of attempted rape and assault against him were dropped.

---

And F1 driver Sergio Perez has denied rumors that he could be axed from Red Bull.

This, amid a poor string of results from Perez, who hasn’t been on the podium in eight races, while he remains five places behind teammate Max Verstappen in the drivers’ championship.
