Liverpool kept up their chase for the quadruple with a 1-0 win over Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup quarterfinals.

The Reds were made to work hard for the win with Diogo Jota netting the winner 12 minutes from time.

Liverpool will next go on to face Man City in the semis, after City romped to a comfortable 4-1 win over Southampton.

Another FA Cup tie saw Crystal Palace thrash Everton 4-0, to book a semis spot against Chelsea.

Barcelona put on a dominant display, to record a 4-0 away win over La Liga leaders Real Madrid.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored two of the Catalan side’s goal…on what was his El Classico debut.

Despite the defeat, Real remain nine points ahead of second-placed Sevilla and hold a 12-point advantage over Barca in third.

Son Heung Min scored twice in Tottenham’s 3-1 EPL win over West Ham, to help Spurs close in on the top four.

Tottenham are now three points behind fourth-placed Arsenal, although the Gunners have a game in hand.

Charles Leclerc has won the season-opening Bahrain F1 GP, taking the chequered flag ahead of Ferrari teammate Carlos Sainz and Lewis Hamilton in the Mercedes.

It is Ferrari’s first race victory since 2019.

World champion Max Verstappen and his Red Bull teammate Sergio Perez were both forced to retire with car trouble late in the race.
