Spain Edge Holders Italy At Euro 2024

Spain have qualified for the knockout round of Euro 2024…after a 1-0 group win over holders Italy this morning.

The Italians, however, still have a chance of progressing – depending on their result against Croatia next week.

In Group C…England missed the chance to book an early spot in the last-16…after they were held to a 1-1 draw by Denmark.

While the match between Slovenia and Serbia also ended in a 1-1 draw.

Elsewhere at the Euros…France coach Didier Deschamps says there’s a good chance that Kylian Mbappe will make it onto the team for tomorrow’s clash with The Netherlands…as the striker is recovering well from his broken nose.

The Malaysian football team has moved up three places to 135^th in the latest FIFA World Rankings.
