David De Gea has committed his immediate future to Man United.

The Spanish goalkeeper says he can’t see himself playing for any other club, and suggested he would be open to extending his United contract beyond next year.

De Gea has become one of United’s most important players, since arriving at Old Trafford in 2011.

Real Madrid are taking their time in their pursuit of Kylian Mbappe.

Sources say the La Liga giants will not rush the PSG striker into making a decision about his future, opting instead to let the Frenchman take the lead in negotiations.

Real are currently the overwhelming favourites to sign Mbappe, when his PSG contract expires in the summer.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has told his players to forget about next Monday’s League Cup final against Chelsea for the moment.

He says his team has to first focus on their EPL tie against Leeds on Thursday morning.

The Reds head into the match just six points behind Man City, with a game in hand over the leaders.

Malaysia have missed out on a place in the semis of the AFF Under-23 Championship after a 2-0 defeat to Laos.

This was their second defeat to the same opponents, having fallen to a 2-1 loss last week.

The Malaysians went into the match with a reshuffled squad, after six players tested positive for Covid.
