Malaysia’s Lee Zii Jia is the All England men’s singles champion!

The 22-year-old put on an incredible performance to beat last year’s winner Viktor Axelsen in a closely contested final, winning 30-29, 22-20, 21-9.

Zii Jia is also now the first Malaysian since Datuk Lee Chong Wei in 2017 to win an All England title.

Leicester City are through to the FA Cup semifinals after recording a 3-1 win over Man United.

The Foxes’ in-form striker Kelechi Iheanacho scored twice to secure the victory.

Leicester now advance to the semis for the first time in nearly four decades and will next take on Southampton.

Meanwhile, Chelsea were made to work hard for their 2-0 win over Sheffield United.

The Blues’ reward is a semifinal showdown with fellow Premiership side Man City – who are in the running to win four trophies this season.

Lionel Messi scored twice as Barcelona recorded a 6-1 win over Real Sociedad this morning.

It brings Messi’s goal tally in La Liga to 467 over his career – the first player to score that many in a single European league.

Meanwhile, Luis Suarez scored his 500^th career goal to help Atletico Madrid beat Alaves 1-0, and remain four points clear at the top of La Liga.

The Uruguay international is one of only five currently-active players to score 500 or more…after Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Robert Lewandowski.
