Tottenham make contact with Pochettino again

Tottenham have made contact with their former manager Mauricio Pochettino about returning to the London club.

The Argentine was sacked by Spurs in late 2019…before eventually taking over at PSG this past January.

It comes as Tottenham struggles to find a permanent replacement for the sacked Jose Mourinho.

National diver Cheong Jun Hoong’s participation in the upcoming Tokyo Olympics hangs in the balance.

This, after the sport’s governing body made a last-minute change to its qualification quota, giving automatic qualification to only the top-12 divers from last month’s Diving World Cup, instead of 18 previously.

Jun Hoong had finished 18^th and would have qualified under the previous quota, but now has to wait for any cancellations by other athletes to see if she will make it to Tokyo.

Rafa Nadal, Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer have all been drawn in the same half for upcoming French tennis Open…meaning they could face each other before the final.

Based on the draw…Nadal could potentially meet Djokovic in the semis, while there’s also a chance Djokovic will face Federer in the quarterfinals.

The International Olympic Committee has once again assured that any decision about the Tokyo Olympics is made together by the IOC and host country.

This, following reports that the Committee would push ahead with the Games, even if the Japanese government wants to scrap it due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
