Injury Lifeline For Arsenal

Arsenal have received a fitness boost ahead of their Champions League semifinal clash against PSG tomorrow.

This, after Ben White and Mikel Merino both returned to training after their respective spells on the sidelines.

Gunners boss Mikel Arteta, however, was unable to confirm if the duo will be fit enough to make the starting eleven.

Arsenal are already without five regular players, including Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz, who are all long-term injury absentees.

Aston Villa’s on-loan striker Marcus Rashford is expected to miss the rest of the season, due to a hamstring injury.

The club is currently assessing his condition, although the 27-year-old is likely to focus on recovering in time to play for England in their World Cup qualifier in June.

Liverpool will host a victory parade on May 26^th, to celebrate the club winning the Premier League title.

It will be The Reds’ first such parade in 35 years…since their last league victory in 2020 happened behind closed doors due to the Covid pandemic.

The Youth and Sports Ministry says Malaysian motorcycle racer Muhammad Hakim Danish can consider seeking a grant under the National Sports Trust Fund to support his career, if he continues achieving positive results.

This, after the 17-year-old recently grabbed double podium finishes in the Spanish GP Rookies Cup.

And, the London mayor says he wants the UK capital to bid for the 2040 Olympics…which would make it the first city to host the summer games four times.
