Euro 2020: England finally break Germany jinx

England are through to the quarterfinals of Euro 2020 after beating Germany 2-0 at Wembley.
Raheem Sterling opened the scoring for the home side in the 75th minute, before Harry Kane netted his first goal of the tournament four minutes from time.
This is England’s first win over Germany in the knockout round of a major tournament in 55 years.
The defeat also marks the end of Joachim Low’s time in charge of Germany, with the World Cup winner to step down after 15 years as head coach.

Up next for England will be Ukraine – who pulled off a surprise 2-1 win over Sweden in extra-time.
Artem Dovbyk netted the dramatic winner in the dying minutes of the game.
This will be Ukraine’s first ever appearance in the quarterfinals of the European Championship.
The other last-eight matchups will see Switzerland taking on Spain, Belgium will play Italy, while the Czech Republic are up against Denmark.

Borussia Dortmund are reportedly prepared to accept Man United’s 85 million euros bid for Jadon Sancho.
