Three Straight Losses For Man United

Man United’s campaign has gone from bad to worse after they fell to a 2-0 EPL defeat to Newcastle this morning.

This is the Red Devil’s fourth defeat in a row across all competitions.

Its also the first time in more than 60 years, that they’ve lost three successive home games.

It leaves United 14^th in the league standings, just seven points off the relegation zone, ahead of their next match against leaders Liverpool at Anfield.

In other EPL results this morning… Chelsea missed out on the chance to move up to second place after they fell to a 2-0 loss to relegation strugglers Ipswich.

While Brighton netted a late equalizer to snatch a 2-2 draw with Aston Villa.

Defending champions Thailand have snuck into the ASEAN Cup final, after a dramatic 3-1 win over the Philippines to wrap up a 4-3 aggregate victory in the semifinals.

In other developments, ex-England boss Gareth Southgate has been awarded a knighthood in the UK’s New Year’s Honors list.

The 54-year-old, who stepped down in July, had guided the Three Lions to two straight Euro finals and the semifinals of the World Cup during his eight years in charge.

Back home…former FAM president Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim has revealed, that the identity of the new CEO of the Harimau Malaya squad will be announced later today.

And, the Commonwealth Games Federation says future editions of the Games could be held in multiple host cities to help split the high cost of holding the sporting event.
