Aguero Fires City To Victory Over The Gunners

City Close In On Top Spot

Manchester City have kept themselves in the Premiership title race, with a 3-1 win over Arsenal at the Etihad.

Sergio Aguero was the hero for City - netting all three goals for his 14th hattrick for the club.

It leaves Pep Guardiola's side just two points adrift of leaders Liverpool - although the Reds have the chance to pull further ahead when they take on West Ham tomorrow.

Meanwhile, Sergio Aguero has come clean - admitting that his third goal against the Gunners should not have been allowed to stand as it was handball.

Television replays showed the ball appearing to hit the striker's arm, before rolling into the net.
 

United Extend Unbeaten Run

Elsewhere, Manchester United extended their unbeaten run under Ole Gunnar Solksjaer to 10 matches, with a 1-0 away win over Leicester. 

Marcus Rashford netted an early winner for the Red Devils - taking his personal tally to 10 goals this season. 

The win leaves United in fifth place - 2 points adrift of the top four.
