Alonso Calls Time On F1 Career

Two-time Formula One world champion Fernando Alonso has announced he will retire from the sport at the end of the season. 

The 37-year-old is currently competing in his 17th season in F1, having made his debut for the Minardi team at the 2001 Australian GP. 

Alonso didnt say where he's going next, although the Spaniard is widely tipped to be joining the IndyCar series in America.
