Watford are the third top-flight English club to publicly oppose the use of neutral venues when the Premier League season eventually resumes.

The Hornets say the move would compromise fairness and sporting integrity.

Brighton and Aston Villa are the others who have publicly spoken out against the neutral venue proposal so far, although other clubs are also understood to have similar feelings.

A vote is expected to be held later this month to decide on whether to go ahead with the move.

F1 on right track to start the season

The Grand Prix Driver’s Association is confident with the health and safety precautions being taken by Formula One to get its season underway.

The association stressed that things are still subject to change due to the fluid nature of the coronavirus pandemic, but as it stands now, Formula One is on the right track to beginning the 2020 campaign on July 5th, as initially planned.
