Another MotoGP race under threat from COVID-19

Mar 08, 2020

MotoGP's season-opener, the Grand Prix of the Americas is in doubt after host city, Austin Texas declared a COVID-19 emergency.

This means the city will suspend any events with that have 2,500 or more attendees, unless event organisers can prove they have appropriate measures to contain the spread of the disease.

Austin was originally meant to host the third race of the season, but the schedule was revised after the Qatar opener was cancelled, while the second round in Thailand was postponed.

Meanwhile, the CEO of the Sepang International Circuit has launched an online poll, asking fans if the track should host one of the affected races, in addition to the Malaysian Grand Prix.

Around 95 percent of respondents said yes.

Man United will face Man City for the 4th time in three months, in tonight's EPL clash at Old Trafford.

Kevin De Bruyne COULD be in contention for City, after missing their FA Cup 5th round win over Sheffield Wednesday, due to a back injury.

Meanwhile United could have Harry Maguire, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Daniel James back from their respective injuries.

--

Man City will reportedly allow Sergio Aguero to leave in the summer, IF that's what the striker wants.

It's believed that Aguero is happy at City, but he could consider his options if City lose their appeal against their 2-year Champions League ban.
