Arsenal wants to reopen the Emirates Stadium

Sep 03, 2020

Arsenal fans could return to the Emirates stadium by as early as next month!

The Gunners plan to allow a limited number of season-ticket holders to attend their home game against Sheffield United on October 3rd.

This as the Premier League conducted a test-run at the weekend, which saw over 2 thousand fans attending a friendly match between Brighton and Chelsea.

This was the first football match to have fans in attendance, since a ban on mass gatherings was introduced in the UK in March.

Messi's future is still uncertain

Lionel Messi's future at Barcelona is still just as uncertain, as it was when he filed his transfer request

This, after Messi's reps and Barca reportedly failed to reach a compromise that would allow him to leave.

Messi claims he's entitled to leave the Camp Nou on a free transfer, due to a clause in his current contract.

However, Barca insist that the clause expired several months ago, and interested clubs must pay the 630 million pound release clause in full.

Ramos wants Messi to stay

Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos has urged Lionel Messi to stay at Barcelona.

Ramos says Messi has earned the right to decide his future.

However, he also reckons that La Liga will not be the same without the Argentine superstar.
