Bruno Fernandes makes his mark as Man Utd player

Feb 24, 2020

Bruno Fernandes scored his first Premiership goal for Manchester United, as his side thrashed relegation-threatened Watford 3-nil at Old Trafford.

Anthony Martial also found the back of the net, before youngster Mason Greenwood sealed the win.

The result moves United up to fifth, just three points behind fourth-placed Chelsea.

Elsewhere, Arsenal remain unbeaten in 2020, after posting a 3-2 victory over Everton at the Emirates.

Meanwhile, Wolves reignited their chase for a Champions League spot, by beating Norwich 3-nil.

Eden Hazard ruled out with ankle injury again

Eden Hazard will miss the first leg of Real Madrid's Champions League last-16 tie against Man City this Thursday, after breaking his ankle.

The striker limped off during Real's 1-nil defeat at Levante in La Liga yesterday, in what was only his second match since returning from another ankle injury, which had kept him out of action for almost three months.

Real have confirmed that Hazard has suffered a fracture, and it's unclear how long he'll take to recover.

This means Hazard is also set to miss Real's El Clasico match against Barcelona next week.

The 27-year-old Moroccan has now agreed personal terms with The Blues, since the 33 million-pound deal was announced earlier this month.
