Burnley have picked up their first Premeirship win of the season, beating Crystal Palace 1-0 at home.

It moves the Clarets out of the relegation zone, one point off the bottom three.

Another match this morning saw Southampton held to a 1-1 draw by Wolves, denying the Saints the chance to climb up to third in the standings.

Leo to sit out Dynamo tie

Lionel Messi has been left out of the Barcelona team to face Dynamo Kiev in the Champions League tomorrow.

Barca boss Ronaldo Koeman says he’s taking the opportunity to rest his star player, with the team currently sitting comfortably at the top of their group.

The Catalan side have already lost Ansu Fati and Gerrard Pique to long-term injuries, and Koeman says he cant afford to have Messi sidelined as well.

City to move for Kane?

Harry Kane could become a Man City player next season, if Pep Guardiola gets his way.

The City boss has reportedly informed club officials that he wants to launch a big money move for the Tottenham striker this summer.

Kane still has three and a half years remaining on his Spurs contract, but is believed to be frustrated by the team’s failure to win trophies.

Zlatan sidelined

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been sidelined for up to two weeks, after picking up a muscle injury in AC Milan’s 3-1 Serie A win over Napoli.

The veteran Swedish striker is currently Milan’s top scorer, having netted 10 goals in six league matches this season.
