Chelsea have been banned from signing players in the next two transfer windows, until the end of January 2020

This, after FIFA found them guilty for breaching rules regarding their dealings with overseas players under the age of 18

But, the ban, does not prevent the release of players.

The Premier League club say they will appeal against the decision.

Malaysia out from AFF Under-22 Championship

Malaysia have been eliminated from the AFF Under-22 Championship.

This despite their 1-nil win over Myanmar in the last Group B match.

They failed to march to the semi-finals because Indonesia beat hosts Cambodia 2-nil in the other Group B match.

This now enables both Cambodia and Indonesia to progress to the semi-finals at Malaysia’s expense.
