Eric Bailly gives injury update

Oct 09, 2020

Man United’s Eric Bailly has played down concerns that he will be out for an extended period of time.

The defender sparked an injury scare, after he suffered a suspected hamstring injury while on international duty with Ivory coast.

However, he assured that he’s only suffering from muscle fatigue, and says he WILL recover in time for United’s next EPL game, against Newcastle, on October 17th.

Neymar is still a doubt for Brazil’s World Cup Qualifier against Bolivia due to a back problem.

He suffered the injury in training and will face a late fitness test to see if he can play.

Meanwhile, Brazil will definitely be without goalkeeper Alisso, and striker Gabriel Jesus, due to their respective injury woes.
