FIFA's The Best Awards highlights

Luka Modric has been named FIFA's Best Male Player of the Year, beating Cristiano Ronaldo and Mo Salah to the honour. 

It comes on the back of the Croatian winning his third Champions League title in a row with Real Madrid, and guiding his country to the World Cup final. 

Brazil striker Marta was the Women's Player of the Year, while French World Cup winner Didier Deschamps was the Best Coach. 

Chelsea goallie Thibaut Courtois, who is now with Real Madrid, was named Best Goalkeeper.

Mo Salah won the Puskas award for best goal - for his effort against Everton last December.

While Peru's supporters picked up the FIFA Fan Award, for their dedication and passion in following their country to the World Cup in Russia.
